Koala · Charts for Jira (“the app”) is provided by Berry.Love (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the app does with your data. It is deliberately short because the app deliberately does very little with your data.
Koala renders Jira dashboard gadgets that chart the issues matched by a search you configure, and exports those charts as XLSX, PDF, or PNG files — on demand or on a schedule you create.
The app runs entirely on Atlassian Forge, Atlassian’s serverless platform, inside Atlassian’s own infrastructure. Your Jira data is not sent to any server operated by Berry.Love or any third party. The app makes no external network calls. This is why the app qualifies for Atlassian’s Runs on Atlassian program. On-demand exports are generated in your own browser; scheduled exports are generated inside Forge.
Only the Jira issue data needed to build the charts you configure, using the
read:jira-work permission. Every read runs as the person viewing the chart, so
the app can never show anyone data their own Jira account could not already query.
Using Atlassian-hosted storage (storage:app), the app stores:
The app does not build a profile of you, and stores no analytics or usage telemetry of any kind — there is nothing to opt out of.
Schedules can be deleted at any time from the gadget’s Schedules panel; deleting a gadget removes its configuration. Uninstalling the app removes its access to your Jira site.
